Snow Emergency Declared today, Feb 17-18 in Nyack

From Village of Nyack website:

Snow Emergency Declared — 7:00pm February 17, 2018

The Village will implement a Snow Emergency that will go into effect at 7:00 pm, Saturday, February 17, 2018.

If your car is parked on the street in the Snow Emergency zone , please move it either to another street, a driveway or to the Village parking lots on Artopee Way where parking will be free until the Snow Emergency is lifted. Please reference our Snow Emergency Overview page. This is mandatory so that public works crews can access your street and clear roadways as quickly as possible for public safety.

We urge everyone to be cautious during the storm. Stay off the roads, shovel carefully and call 911 for any emergency.

According to Village code, sidewalks must be cleared of snow within twenty-four hours from the end of the storm so that community members can pass safely through the Village without walking in streets. If you do not feel you are able to clear your sidewalks, make arrangements for someone to help you.
