The morning after a quick Saturday night storm that fell at a rate of apporox. 2 inches an hour for 2-3 hours.

The roadways are mostly clear now. The majority of last night’s snowfall came between 6-9 PM, leaving about 7 inches of fluffy white snow for friends and neighbors to dig out at their own leisure this Sunday morning in Rockland.

Weather conditions caused a State of Emergency declared in parts of the county and drivers on highways found themselves temporarily stuck on major roadways such as the Palisades Interstate Parkway (PIP).

The Saturday night storm kept many in for the evening. Here are pictures of from South Rockland this AM.
